Studying Race and Policing REU

This 9-week summer program provides hands-on research experience. The research experience includes professional development seminars, social activities, networking, and presenting at the WSU Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium.

The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and the Complex Social Interactions Lab at Washington State University are pleased to offer paid summer research internships through their NSF REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program where students have the opportunity to study police and race using body-worn camera footage. Students will gain hands on experience working with data and using software like Excel, Access, and R-Studio.
